In this very moment, I'm going to take you on a journey into Indianapolis' nightlife, a place where when the sun goes down, the lashes are glued on. Coining its name from the 1950s pinup term ‘cheesecakes,’ Murphy documented a night into the lives of several men, and their alter egos. Cheesecakes briefly showcases the process of going from Ashton to Boy Gorge, Drew to Blair, Tyler to Patience. From six-thirty to eight forty-five three men sitting at their mirrors with glue sticks in hand, getting ready for showtime in Zonie's Closet.

"It's my way of life, I can't imagine not letting this side of me breathe freely. What people don't seem to understand is that I'm not doing this for you, I'm not doing this for me, I don't do this for anyone but Boy Gorge, because he is as real as you and I. Boy is real like the leather boots I dance in, if I don't dance here tonight I'll do it in my room, but you can't stop something real... let alone THIS fabulous!"
