In this pair of presentations, Veronica Murphy examins artificial intelligence through two distinct art-historical lenses. AI and the Avant-Garde considers the technology in relation to Italian Futurism and earlier artistic responses to speed, machinery, and cultural change. Artificial Intelligence and the Museum explors how AI is affecting museums, collections, interpretation, education, and the ways cultural institutions present knowledge to the public.
